Cancer Research Program

The California Cancer Research Program (CRP) , established in 1998, provides funds for cancer research in California with an emphasis on gender-specific cancers such as ovarian and prostate cancer. The State of California has so far funded two cycles of awards which have given grants totaling more than $101 million to 197 research projects.

In response to frequent questions with respect to CRP funding, if you would like to help us meet our matching funds mandate, please contact our program staff as (916) 445-6455 or by email at crp@dhs.ca.gov
