We purchased the Snugride 35 in Flint and could not be happier. The picture does not do justice. The padding is very soft and plush. Will be very comfortable for baby. With the 35 lb and 32 inch max, this is definitely gonna last > 1yr. The side impact safety feature makes this a 5. The only con is that the infant head support is way too big for a newborn. Otherwise, we love this car seat.

Worth the cost! March 21, 2010 Niki (New Bedford, MA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Received this car seat and I am very pleased with the appearance. As others have mentioned it is a bit heavy, but the seat is strong and sturdy, just what you would want it to be in the event of an accident. The fabic is very soft, almost a velvet like feel, which you can not see in the computer images. What I like most about this seat is the max weight of 35 lbs and height of 32 inches. That makes it worthwhile as putting covertible seats in rear facing always seem to take up so much room in the car. Baby will be here in a few weeks and I am pleased with my selection.
probably safe, but not comfortable May 21, 2010 V. Lowe (San Diego, CA) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
Uncomfortable
My baby has disliked this carseat from day one. Now she is 4 mo. old and still cries whenever we put her in it. This makes for some stressful car rides until she manages to fall asleep. Luckily she does still fall asleep in it after some crying. All this car seat is, is plastic, hard foam piece and a thin piece of fabric on top with those annoying cushions. I wish we had gotten something more comfortable for her.
Sizing
She is large for her age, 15lbs, but still well under the 35 lbs and the straps are already nearly too small for her. I can't imagine this carseat lasting until 35 lbs.
Cushions
Also the little cushions on the side flap around and are really annoying every time I'm holding a wiggling baby, I have to move the little cushions out of the main part of her seat and readjust the cushions after she is in it.
