| Customer Reviews: Triumph Advance Premier vs LX and DLX September 3, 2010 Gadget Girl (Alexandria, VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We really like this car seat. The fabric is microfiber and really soft. Our daughter is very comfortable in it and it is easy to adjust the harness (chest, crotch strap), easy to recline, etc. We purchased due to it's good reviews in Consumer Reports and its price point here on Amazon.
The car seat is more or less assembled out of the box, you only have to attach the infant insert, if desired. (Note: If you are searching for the instruction manual, it's attached to the back of the seat in a little "slot" which is handy for storage of the manual with the seat. This area is also where you'll find the locking strap.
While the Triumph Advance series (LX, DLX and Premier) are all mostly the same seat, there are slight differences. At first I thought it was the quality of the fabric, but there are other differences. DLX has the infant insert (LX does not). Premier: Same as DLX, but has the additional feature of "Quick Latch" connectors. This Quick Latch is similar to the connectors on our Britax Marathon - a quick release button opens up the clips for easy attaching to your vehicle's seat. The top latch connector is a regular hook.
Overall we really like this product, easy to install and set up in either rear facing or forward facing, and a comfortable ride for our daughter.
